Computer Forensics

Defensible Process. Repeatable Results. Because we understand the importance of proper evidence handling procedures, we approach ESI collection, examination and processing with the elevated customer service levels you’ve come to expect from DTI.

Our core belief has always been that our customers deserve unsurpassed technology solutions along with the best possible customer service, and we at DTI are committed being second to none. In keeping with this commitment, we have created our latest state-of-the-art litigation support service group: Computer Forensic Services.

Computer Forensic Services. Computer Forensic Services is a natural addition to DTI’s premier line of litigation support services. It brings to the e-Discovery process a unique service that is commonly absent from typical EDD service providers, offering significant added value to our clients.

In developing our Computer Forensic Services practice we have responded to an increasing demand from our clients for a comprehensive, secure, and reliable process. e-Discovery services are no longer simply the intake and manipulation of paper and electronic files. ESI processing practices must also be able to produce and maintain evidence materials bound for trial. The proper collection, maintenance, storage and investigation of these materials are the primary mission of the Computer Forensic Service practice area.

Our Commitment. Our commitment to and investment in the forensics practice goes beyond the mere addition of hardware and software.  We have not only added specialists in the forensics field but also provide continuous training for our team to ensure certification in the most current systems data collection techniques and adherence to chain-of-custody rules.

Most of our forensic field acquisitions are sent to our new Forensics Lab at our National Technology Center (NTC) in Atlanta for examination. This allows the data to be quickly on-ramped for the ESI processing portion of e-Discovery, if required. It also minimizes the Chain of Custody process.

Electronic Data Acquisition Systems. These systems have seen a huge leap in functionality and storage capacity, and these devices are now capable of storing enormous amounts of information. In conjunction with the impressive processing capacity of the NTC, the Computer Forensic Service department is able to handle jobs that are beyond the scope of most CF companies. DTI is committed to giving our customers a “World-class” solution in terms of Computer Forensic technology and professionals.

In many cases Computer Forensic Services is the beginning of any e-Discovery project, and thus is an important component of DTI’s end-to-end solutions for our client’s litigation support requirements. We provide not only significant processing power and capacity, but also the specialists and technicians to perform the collection of data in a forensically sound and defensible manner. As with all DTI services, our forensics team adheres to the philosophy of client satisfaction second to none.
